The charming atmosphere really stood out during our stay. We enjoyed tea and homemade cake in the lovely garden upon arrival, which set a delightful tone for our trip. The cottage is cozy with a strong sense of comfort, reminiscent of home with its grandfather clock and warm decor. Although we had to share a bathroom, the breakfast served daily was excellent, with options that left us satisfied for our adventures ahead. We loved the peaceful surroundings, even if it meant the nearest pub was a bit far for a stroll back after dinner.

Location: the hotel was close enough to Brook Farmhouse, the pub or the village shop and beautiful surroundings. The breakfast spread was satisfactory with home-made jams and fresh ingredients.

Perfect 10/10 stay, as always. Incredibly beautiful accommodation with lovely setting right by the pub or the village shop, the Brook Farmhouse and the garden. Immaculate room and cosy, comfortable bed. Very very good breakfast to start the day with fresh ingredients and home-made jams.

Charming decor was lovely, but the narrow stairs were quite a climb for us.

Absolutely, the breakfast was fine, but the second day it totally reminded me of we were imposing on their routine. The long lane to get there was exhausting, which I definitely expected to be compensated for with some special treatment. The stairs were tricky was nice. Just couldn't recommend this place after all.

The charming decor throughout Brook Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast. A beautiful old cottage in a fine setting made the atmosphere good. My host was attentive, greeting me with tea and homemade cake that was delicious. Fresh flowers from the garden in my room was like a special touch. I did find the stairs to my bedroom quite tricky. The ceilings were low, and my luggage was a bit difficult to get up. The room itself was beautifully furnished but felt crowded with furniture, leaving less space to move comfortably. Breakfast was excellent, but shared bathrooms were not ideal, and I would have preferred an en-suite. The remote location was lovely but made it hard to walk to nearby amenities. Access to the bedrooms involved navigating steep, narrow stairs, which could be a challenge.

The breakfast was splendid, with fresh local produce making each bite sing. And let's not forget the charming atmosphere-think cozy gardens with homemade cake that greeted us upon arrival!
Now, the stairs to our bedroom were a bit of a workout, especially for us as an elderly couple, and our room felt a tad cramped with all the furniture.

Unboxing my experience
Picture this, tea and homemade cake in a quaint garden, the rhythmic tock of a grandfather clock, and a cozy fireplace for evening warmth. The hosts radiated friendliness, and breakfast was good, especially the fresh apple juice. A peaceful rural retreat, albeit a bit remote for walking to local amenities, but utterly charming nonetheless.

The twin/double room and bed were spacious, and the included amenities such as tea/coffee making equipment, satellite television, and a sitting area added a nice touch.
